I did try doing the same as the yog pet with the Mayhem Bronze Bunny and it doesn't work. So the next step for me is to have see if I can get auto loot pills on the webshop or auto loot food from the AU and see if it makes a difference

Hi Shadow. Apologies for not getting back to this thread sooner. I did apply what you wrote above and my yog pet excavation skill is now active with the steps you have given above. Now I just got to do my bronze bunny from Mayhem. The skilling up was done in the past with the normal tricks...

Hi Sith. When I signed on today, I saw your suggestion. So, I went to the pet manager machine but it is saying its' "closed" in red letters. So, either they are working on the problem with the pet machine at the moment or something else is wrong. I did try doing your suggestion but currently...

They already have a ticket on this...they have not responded yet....it's only been 2 days..they have been known to get to tickets over a week later.. I will update this thread if they provide an answer or solution so it is available to others who wish to tame a pet yog and unlock its excavation...

Shadow, I have done as you asked last 3 times and it is still the same every time with 10 ped on my ped card, 100 animal essence, 5 rare essence and my yog being well over lvl 10 at lvl 13. He now does all 5 tricks whenever I play with him to skill up....Nothing shows up indicating recognition...

Shadow, it says that available passive effects are excavation mastery, the "lock" is throbbing green BUT it is not the current effect on the pet (which also happens to be the ONLY effect the yog has). Normally, from that I have seen, the lock isn't green which indicates its in process but it is...

I found that too online and he has done all 5 tricks and for the last several days and to do all them in succession from greet, dance, bow, roll and boast. Online, it said that every trick had to be done at least once.. All of his tricks have been done many times during his training.

Every time I use the pet manager , what is in the above screenshot shows up. There is no mention of the excavation skill at the pet manager machine. I have all the extra additions,,, 10 ped, 100 animal essence, 5 rare essence and an overqualified pet yog named ManagerDoug who should have been...
