Whenever jerkiness shows up at the Monria Hub, which it does now and then, you are unable to spawn pets there. Usually a server restart fixes it, so hopefully that will happen tomorrow with the release update.

You will receive a friend request from the Monria Fleet Manager within the next 24 hrs or so depending on when the MFM can log into the game, and after you accept it, you will be added to the Yamato guest list and sent an invite to the Yamato chat channel.
