It's how everyone else does it to be able to see the Shoutbox. The reason this is in place is because your first several posts have to be moderated ... it's actually part of our anti-bad-spam program to prevent "real" spam. Do it or don't though, it's up to you. :)

ATTENTION ... the event has already started, so total globals/hofs guesses that are posted won't be eligible from this point forward ... it's good to read the event thread for details ... and also good to make sure you check other numbers in play so that you don't duplicate them.
