picked up nawa outside of temple area

I picked up 13 nawa while hunting khaffash in the pvp area today.
I'm not sure if that is supposed to happen, just tought i'd mention it.

you mean it's spawning on the ground similar to the Nawa Fountain inside the Narian Temple?
