We learned that Queen Nara had been working with DEC from the Holoroom at DSEC-9 to help keep an eye on the Lotus Temple while all was in seclusion, but DEC recently opened up the Elara area that now reveals the Lotus Temple and the Lotus Invaders who continue to threaten the safety of the temple. Community members, along with friends and allies of Toulan are now more fully engaged to help protect not only the Narian Temple on Toulan, but the newly revealed Lotus Temple.

Of utmost importance as well is protection of the Guardian Village at Toulan that is invaded once a month by mutated mobs to keep us otherwise engaged while higher-level creatures surround the Narian Temple. Queen Nara is most grateful for the continued support from her warriors on Toulan and beyond.

Therefore, she has decreed that Toulan Citizenship be awarded to those who have given of there time and effort toward the safety of Toulan. There is a mission that can be taken from NPC Haneen at the Citadel Information Booth just beyond the TP and steps near the landing zone.

Gaining Toulan Citizenship means receiving the Toulan Born outfit, as well as all benefits that come with it such as the free space travel benefit on the Yamato that flies twice a week to all planets, and being able to do all Toulan Born missions now and in the future, including the 20 step beginners mission chain available now.

Please review the Yamato Warp Schedule to know how it works.

Here is a link to our Dec VU Release Notes that reveal what has been added to Toulan, as well as the 2nd section of the DSEC-9 map called Elara with the Lotus Temple.

I guess the question now is ... will we be able to contain the Toulan and Elara creatures from doing major damage to both the Narian and Lotus Temples?

Specific Details
  • The Toulan community and allies must unite once again to defeat shared loot mobs and protect the planet
  • As a reminder, the 22 modified mob maturities will only ever appear during events
  • There are specific Lost Pages for the Book of Life that can only ever be looted during an event
  • The Lost Pages will drop from all mobs during an event and outside of an event
  • As learned with the launch of this monthly event in Dec 2020, the mob attacks will commence at Guardian Village with HM Queen Nara
  • --- she is calling on all Insians and allies to defend the village
  • We also learned that following the initial attack, there is a full scale invasion across various locations on Toulan
Here is a link to Toulan's Mobs ... including Event Mobs, Toulan Waves and Boss Mobs, and Toulan Codex.

WARNING

We warned you before to come fully prepared because the behavior of these unique 22 modified creatures is unpredictable. Many learned with the launch of this monthly event in Dec 2020, that anyone stepping into the large aggro range of these mobs will trigger a full-on charge of all of the mobs at once, and it's not just one group of them. There are waves that include boss mobs, and then all 7 of the boss mobs in a row, one more deadly than the one before. When these 7 boss mobs are killed, the full scale invasion across various locations on Toulan begins for the remainder of the weekend.

However, there is an added segment to the end of the initial waves and bosses for about an hour or so ... it will keep you busy. :p

For full and complete details about this monthly event, there is an article in the Dec 2020 Virtualsense Quarterly magazine that breaks everything down.

(these guys, and the other wave levels all charge at once when the first player breaches their aggro range, which is quite large)

Also a reminder ... in order to take the Toulan Citizenship mission from NPC Haneen at the Citadel by the Information Booth, you need to have a Nawa Core MK3 ... here is a link to how the Nawa stuff works, written by Bonnie Knight that is helpful in learning how to get your Nawa Core MK1 and then upgrading it ... be sure to check out the booths and shops at the Nahar Towers on the 6th and 7th floors for the Nawa Core parts needed for the upgrades, as well as Wang's Pet Stable booth and shop.

Nawa Core Data presented by Alaina Bonnie Knight

There are also links in the first post that are helpful with regard to other things.

How much ped cycle is needed approximately for Toulan Citizenship? Any guess?
I finished it with a little over 22K in ammo and repairs. You can check my hunting log if you want to know it to the pec. The first 4 montly event numbers are what i needed to complete it.
I have heard and read anything between alot less if your just make 1 shot at at mobs being killed by others to up to 30k cycled.

It all depends on what mob and/or tools us use i suppose.
