==========
** ALERT **
Please make sure that your status in the game is NOT on Incognito or Invisible because if it is, I can't access your avatar name through the in-game User Registry and wont be able to add you to the Yamato guest list.
==========

You will receive a friend request from the Monria Fleet Manager prior to the next travel schedule, and after you accept it, you will be added to the Yamato guest list and sent an invite to the Yamato chat channel.

** IMPORTANT **
Make sure that you have all planets and space downloaded to prevent a disruption during travels, this includes Howling Mine. Before you log into the game, click on the "Tools" link at the bottom right of the Client Loader to see what's downloaded and what's not.

ALERT ... make sure that you have read and understand the new changes to the space travel program with regard to having your own transportation to access planets. We cannot guarantee a ride down to the planet. However, MindArk has now removed the 7 ped fee to travel from a planet's Space Station to the planet, and this includes Howling Mine.

ALSO IMPORTANT ... make sure to do your 8 posts in the test thread in order to see our Shoutbox at the forum on the right side just down a bit. This is where we communicate with our Yamato passengers during the travel schedules. This is beneficial in case you have to log out during a warp if you have lootables and will be protected should we be attacked by pirates. You will watch the Shoutbox to learn when it is safe to log back in at your destination.

Be sure to wear your Monrian Born or Toulan Born shirt if it applies when boarding the Yamato for travel so you will be recognized as a passenger who flies free. Apartment, booth and shop owners on Monria and Toulan are listed as VIPs and also fly free.

Here is a link to our Yamato Warp Schedule to familiarize yourself with our route and times of the first and final summons at each of the locations. We no longer do a low orbit drop at Calypso and warp only to the Space Station at each location.

As I understand it, players can warp from the Yamato directly into the station at each planet, and from there, teleport down to the planet, correct?

Then, players can be summoned directly back to the Yamato when they are ready to travel again, from any planet? Does this mean the need for a personal ship is outdated, still required, or merely a strong suggestion incase there are disruptions to Yamato's service?

During our Yamato warp service on Fridays and Sundays (Thursday and Monday during the Toulan event weekend each month), we go to each planet space station and at the designated times, we send out a first and final summons to the ship. When we arrive at each location, you can take the ship TP down to the planet space station, and then use the planet space station TP to go down to the planet. There are no fees during this process. Then, you can either accept the first or the final summons to come back to the ship and go to the other planets. We designed our warp schedule route specifically to support our shop owners so they can do their business and have enough time to catch the final summons.

We start at Monria and end at Monria, but Toulan is the 2nd stop, and also the last stop before we head back to Monria to end the warp schedule. This way, our shop owners can get back home to restock their shops.

With regard to having a personal ship, it's always good to have one not only in case there is an issue during the warp schedule, but also so that you can get around a planet quicker, or any location you happen to be at across the universe.

Space is MindArk's domain, and sometimes, after their maintenance or updates, there might be a glitch like ship teleporters not working and you might need to fly up to the ship and enter through the ship's portal at the back of the ship. Could be any number of things, so it's always a good thing to be prepared.

Hope that explanation helps. :)

Please let me know if you are eligible for the free travel benefit on the Yamato, or are a paying customer, I won't be able to add you to the Yamato guest list without that information -- thank you.
