I think it was inevitable that it would come to this ... face time with Decca. Her activities over the past almost six years has been nothing less than chaotic and very disruptive, and now she's been having clandestine meetings in secret with the Toulan Stranger who uses Dark Nawa ... not a good thing.

For those who really don't know who Decca is, perhaps a bit of historical data would help.

In the 1500s, the St Edwards Church in Teaksbury, England was established, and it is said it was owned by Frederick Waverly at the time. Fast forward to 2345 when Cultists who were members of the Cult of Shut'thend made their sanctuary at the church and were preventing the locals from entering. Enter Decca who claimed that Frederick Waverly sold the church to the Decca family and she had documents to prove it. This caused quite a stir and unrest in the community. The Cultists claimed that Frederick Waverly was one of the oldest and original members of the Cult of Shut’thend, and that the church was built for the Cult and not for any other religious organization.

An uprising occurred at the church when the documents were proven to be authentic. Crowds were gathering and police lines found it difficult to contain them. A member of the Cult of Shut'thend had been shot inside the church, and when 3 members carried his body outside, they were emanating a green glow that continued to expand outward. It was said that Decca was going to address the crowd at a podium outside the church, but when she arrived, the chaos got worse.

After explaining the historical background dating back to the original creation of the St Edwards Church in the 1500s, Decca also explained to the people enough to help them understand many events that transpired throughout the centuries. Decca seemed to calm the crowd, almost in a mesmerizing way. When finished, the quiet among thousands of people was almost transforming. For that moment, time seemed to freeze, and all appeared to be moving toward a peaceful resolution.

That, however, was not to be. Somewhere in the crowd, whether it was from hired crowd activists or just unruly members of the community, different types of debris was being thrown at the podium where Decca was standing. Soon after, a riot broke out. Members from the crowd started to rush the church in an attempt to take over. Police continued to work on crowd control and they were losing the battle. It appeared that the line was about to be breached when from the podium a flash of green burst forth. The flash was small, but large enough to create a momentary startle effect and the crowd stopped for a second. Not seeing any other disturbance, the crowd continued to press the line of protection. It was at this point Decca decided that this whole event was over.

Taking the podium one final time, there was a loud buzz in the air. The voice of Decca resounded to the crowd.

Enough! This is my church and has always been. You will all go home now and end this charade.”

The greenish hue started to emanate from all around the podium and started to expand out into the crowd.

I have been tolerant up to this point, but now my patience has grown thin.”

The greenish hue now extended out encompassing all members of the crowd.

Anyone who does not leave and go home will experience the wrath of Cthulhu, and he will have no mercy on your mind or body let alone your pitiful souls.”

The greenish hue was completely engulfing Decca who was now levitating above the podium. Sparks exploded forth from Decca. Then the screams started, slow at first then a small snapping sound started.

In the meantime, one of the Cult's members was interviewed in an attempt to determine what the Cult was up to. This was his response:

"I am a member of the Cult of Shut’thend. We dedicate ourselves to the awakening of our deity Cthulhu. It is the time of the awakening. St Edwards Church is ours. Leave us alone and keep the townsfolk away from interfering with events that are none of their concern. Return the church back to its rightful owners - US - the Cult of Shut'thend."

==========

Long story shortened ... Decca led an exodus from Earth after leaving tremendous devastation and has since resided on Monria where Cthulhu is actually in a death-like sleep in the new location of the City of R'lyeh deep in the dark abyss at the center core of Monria. Decca's mission has always been to awaken Cthulhu, and in order to do that, she needed the help of Cultist Priests and Pinthas who was discovered to be not only an Elder God, but also Cthulhu's twin brother. Elder Gods can shapeshift, which is why you see Pinthas in human form, but when in his true form that he only discovered not that long ago, the difference between him and Cthulhu is their eyes.

Cthulhu-Kthanid.jpg

We as colonists are intruders according to Decca, and she will stop at nothing to get rid of us, which is why we have to stay on task and make sure that all battles we engage in we have enough of a force to defeat whatever she throws at us.

The meeting with Decca was definitely confrontational. I told her she had to stop with the chaos and disruptions. She told me where to go. There is no having any type of civil conversation with her, nor any type of negotiation. She is full of attitude and dismissed any official authority I have as a member of the governing body. She also dissed my Star :no ... so now it's on and I'm out for revenge. Thanks to Narissa Thompson, DSEC Security Team member, I am kept informed of Decca's actions.

That bitch is in deep trouble now.

BTW ... if you want to know the full history of Decca and the Cultists, have a read with the book Pinthas wrote:

"Historical Data - Journal Entries" ... it's in PDF format.

At the end of the day, I have a few questions ... why has Decca been wearing Toulan dresses, and why the new hair style? To impress the Toulan Stranger?
