The Expansion of Entropia Universe. I referenced here for completeness and to avoid ambiguity as to exactly what I was talking about. What I'm about to say won't surprise any serious player of Entropia Universe that has played for awhile: If you're waiting on official announcements from MindArk about the EU Expansion, you might be waiting awhile.
Let me be as unemotional, intention, and logical as I can. Go here:

Privacy Policy
To be transparent and open, MindArk has made a general update to the Privacy Policy to ensure it is clear how your personal data is processed in practice and to make the Privacy Policy easy to navigate, for example through the summary.
The main changes are the information about how your personal data is processed:
- when MindArk uses AI to answer your questions in Entropia and at the website,
- when you upload your own picture frame in Entropia Universe,
- when MindArk shares personal data to planet partners so that they can provide their services to you,
- when MindArk needs to process your personal data to make Entropia Universe, the apps and the website function technically,
- when you use the website,
- when MindArk improves and develops newsletters by analyzing them,
- when you use the MindArk forum or social media,
- when you make a purchase from the Entropia Universe webshop.
In addition, there are also updates to the information about suppliers and the information about how personal data is shared outside the EU/EEA.
Read through the
Privacy Policy and do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
End of Article
Every link is dead. Now try to find the agreements you have with Mind Ark in legal format. Mind Ark is a publicly traded company on a Swedish Stock Exchange, so all those documents are required. Here is where to look:
MindArk PE AB, and here:
MindArk PE AB.
Mind Ark does not merely have legal agreements with their PP's, but they also have solid legal agreements with every player that owns anything even if it's something Mind Ark gave away because every digital product in EU has a distinct cash value attached to it. It can be bought or sold and the cash withdrawn.
This is not compliant with:
- Swedish corporate law
- GDPR
- basic consumer protection
- the requirements of a publicly traded company
- the obligations of a real‑cash economy operator
This is a
failure of legal transparency.
- MindArk is failing to provide accessible legal documentation
- MindArk is failing to maintain transparency
- MindArk is failing to uphold basic corporate communication standards
- MindArk is failing to reassure long-term investors (players)
- MindArk is failing to demonstrate stewardship of a 20-year RCE platform
Let me explain myself. I didn't write this post to bash the game or MindArk. What I put here is simply what I found when I took the time to look. I don't doubt that MindArk has very solid agreements with PP's, but I am a consumer of services rendered. I was led to believe that I was buying real digital assets that a real corporation would develop and maintain indefinitely that I could even pass on to one of my heirs at death.
My conclusion all having been researched: This is not a purchase of any digital asset. I am depositing cash into something that is nothing more than a game. At any time, the company can do as they please, and they are not required to answer to me as a consumer or even the governmental regulators that issue consumer protection law.
Will I continue to deposit small amounts of money into my PED card? Most certainly. Will I continue to play Entropia Universe? Of course I will, but will I be more scrupulous when it comes to deposits? Most definitely because unlike the whales that are able to play EU, I do not have money to burn.
