Yet another link in the connection between Toulan, Monria and DSEC-9 has been discovered. We learned that Decca had been conspiring with Cthulhu's secret daughter Cthylla, but little did we know that Cthylla was going to unleash her own evil creature spawn at the Mountain of Madness on DSEC-9. However, it's worse than that. It was always thought, or at least speculated that the carcass out at Sandy Shores on Toulan was that of Mazir, an ancient creature that one of the Dark Mages summoned to cause chaos on the Insians, but it turned out that this speculation was faulty, at least as far as the carcass out at Sandy Shores is concerned.

Last month, Queen Nara was behaving strangely while spawning extra Evolved Wahesh Supreme Bosses out at Sandy Shores and created a Pyramid of them.

Here's a reminder ...

One would think that this is coincidence, but is it? Cthylla's spawn takes over the Pyramid inside the mountain at Mountain of Madness, but one needs to acquire an item called a Cthylla Bone to offer to Cthylla's Altar before being able to engage. This is where we discovered the new connection between Toulan and Monria/DSEC-9.

Is this coincidence too?

Something very odd is happening, and I can't tell you how important it is that we continue to defend Toulan, because with this new discovery, it's anyone's guess how Toulan will be affected going forward. We know that in the Cthulhu family tree, some are born through parthenogenesis, and that some have the capability of giving birth in this manner ... Cthylla is one of them and plays a critical role in rebirthing Cthulhu should he die.

Question is ... how did a carcass of Cthylla end up at Sandy Shores on Toulan? ... give that one a think.

We warned you before to come fully prepared because the behavior of these unique 22 modified creatures is unpredictable. Many learned with the launch of this monthly event in Dec 2020, that anyone stepping into the large aggro range of these mobs will trigger a full-on charge of all of the mobs at once, and it's not just one group of them. There are waves that include boss mobs, and then all 7 of the boss mobs in a row, one more deadly than the one before. When all 7 boss mobs are killed at this initial onslaught of chaos, the full scale invasion across various locations on Toulan begins for the remainder of the weekend.

However, there is an added segment to the end of the initial waves and bosses for about an hour or so ... it will keep you busy. :p

For full and complete details about this monthly event, there is an article in the Dec 2020 Virtualsense Quarterly magazine that breaks everything down.

(these guys, and the other wave levels all charge at once when the first player breaches their aggro range, which is quite large)

Just FYI, big wahesh spawn is getting a lot of natural Jeef spawned, not sure if it's bug or not, so decided to report it, since it was not happening on previous events.
