Mokhat hand loot - Crossover Chain

Hi, I have an issue with loot, and because of that. I can’t complete the first part of the Crossower questline.
I accepted the first set of missions to gather materials for DEC-I. Everything was going smoothly, but the Mokhat hand loot completely got stuck.
I got the first pieces by hunting Mokhat young near the Guards’ Village. In the CUHOF2 Cave. I obtained some more. Altogether, I collected 36 pieces. After that, the loot stopped completely.
I repeated the instances several times, including CUHOF3 and CUHOF4, tried hunting Mokhat young again, then all Mokhat maturity levels in the Jelly zone, then CUHOF instances again – nothing. Literally hundreds of killed mobs and burned PEDs.
I then traveled to Monria and hunted in DSEC-9, in the Lotus Temple, in the instance behind the brown key. There are higher-level Mokhat there, up to level 37, but still no progress in the mission.
At the same time, other loot counted properly – for example. Dahhal skins from another instance that I already had collected, or adrenal oil from Lotus Invader. Therefore, I assume that Mokhat's hand should also be obtainable there.
This has been blocking me for three days now. Today I returned to Toulan, and in CUHOF2 I obtained a few more pieces, but then it got completely stuck again. Two more runs of CUHOF2 didn’t give me a single piece. I burned several hundred more PEDs in the Jelly zone and didn’t get even one.
This is not a rare loot, and a friend whose character is roughly one-third weaker in stats did this quest a day before me and completed it within an hour.
Is it worth contacting game support about this?

I managed to complete the quest after several more hours, but the same pattern kept repeating. In the CUHOF instance, only 12 items ever dropped, after which the entire loot table switched and became limited to shrapnel, animal residue, and eye oil. Repeating the instance multiple times and continuing to hunt in the jelly zone did not result in any further increase—the loot remained very limited. Because of this, I focused on other tasks and returned roughly every two hours.
Each time, only another 12 items dropped, followed again by the loot being restricted to shrapnel, animal residue, eye oil, and socket components. During the loot period in which it was possible to obtain Mokhat hands, it was also possible to loot other varied items, such as Mokhat hide and Mokhat organ. However, after looting a few pieces of each of these items—which happened very quickly—the loot pool switched back to a very limited selection.
After that point, I could kill hundreds of creatures without obtaining any of these ingredients again, until a time-gated loot refresh occurred. I did not track the exact duration of this loot refresh interval, but after approximately two hours, I was always able to obtain only another 12 Mokhat hands.

Congratulations you now have figured out how the so called loot waves work ;
Hi, you probably think this is funny, but your reply is completely off. The fact that loot comes in waves might have been discovered by Christopher Columbus himself when he first spotted the shores of America from his ship…
There is a huge difference between loot that naturally comes in waves and loot that is very obviously blocked by quest progression. I have verified this repeatedly while completing the later stages of this quest line, where the exact same mechanism occurred every single time: one required loot item took several times longer to obtain than usual.
This happened despite combining hunting in multiple different locations. Just to give one example from creatures on the planet Toulan — in the next phase, I farmed bahri claws for over two days and didn’t obtain them even after four runs of the CUHOF Legends instance, combined with open-world hunting and triple repetition of waves 1–3.
In the final phase, I ran into the exact same issue while trying to obtain duhola sleeves. It was impossible to get more than four pieces in a row, and not even triggering the monthly Toulan planet defense event helped — despite the fact that this mob appears there at higher levels than usual and is hunted in large numbers.
Altogether, it took me almost four days, during which I hunted for several hours straight, ran CUHOF 5 at least eight times, and combined open-world hunting, waves 1–3, and additional hunting during the Toulan defense event.
After completing these quest chains, I returned to hunting the same creatures, and within a few dozen minutes I had collected dozens of pieces of the required loot. This clearly rules out the idea that this is just “loot coming in waves” and makes it obvious that this is not a bug — the loot is intentionally being blocked by quest progression.

I've heard other players state this to. I only made it as far as unlocking the extra tp in the Toulan mall.
So i don't have hands on expirience.
If you believe this to be a bugged it's likely a good idea to post this in the bug section here. It's a good way to get the dev attention on it.

Other then that this is still how loot works on Toulan. I did not mean to make it seem i was making fun of you.

On Monria/Dsec do you have the same with the dsec specific mission drops? Might be worth adding that if you are going to report this.

By now we have to assume that its working as intended, its been mentioned and reported many many times, i too found it very very frustrating, and yes i feel like it gets significantly worse during missions, but with answers given, we must assume it is what it is...
